LAST TIME THEY PLAYED
The 10th-seeded Air Force Falcons battled hard for four quarters but came up short of a win, falling to the seventh-seeded San Diego State Aztecs, 63-55, in the first round of the Air Force Reserve Mountain West Basketball Championship, at the Thomas and Mack Center, Las Vegas, Nevada.
Air Force was led by four individuals with double-figure scoring marks, highlighted by a double-double performance from Emily Conroe, who put the Falcons up early with two three-balls in the first quarter. Conroe scored 10 points, making three-of-four Air Force three-balls on the game, while collecting a game-high 10 rebounds --it was her third double-double of the season. She also added two steals, an assist and a block her stat line.
Kaelin Immel scored 12 points alongside teammates Riley Snyder and Haley Jones who also registered 12 points apiece. Immel was the only other Falcon besides Conroe to hit a three-pointer. Jones recorded a personal-best five assists on the night while adding five rebounds and a block to her stat line. Snyder, who was perfect from the free throw line (4-4) and shot 50.0-percent from the field on the game, also recorded a personal-best two blocks.
Briana Autrey-Thompson, who played for a game-high 37-minutes, recorded five assists on the night, tying a personal-best for this season. The Suffolk, Virginia, native tallied four points and snatched a game-high four steals but went on to turn the ball over eight times, another game-high mark.
The Aztecs were led by Mallory Adams who scored 20 points while shooting 8-13 from the field. Adams also collected a team-high nine rebounds. Teammate Sophia Ramos accounted for 14 points of the final tally and added a team-high three assists to her stat line.
NEXT UP
Air Force returns home to Clune Arena where they will host defending MWC champs, Boise State, at 6:30 p.m. MT, on Wednesday (Feb. 12). The Broncos bested the Falcons in their first meeting this season, 70-61, in Boise.
LAST GAME
Air Force fell to Nevada, 71-67, in Mountain West actions, Wednesday evening (Feb. 5) in Clune Arena. The Falcons, who only had two turnovers in the first half and led by 12 points in the third quarter, struggled to close out The Pack in the fourth quarter, giving Nevada (11-12, 4-8 MW) room to rally. Air Force dropped to 4-18 overall with a 2-9 mark in league action.
The Falcons had three players in double-figures, led by junior co-team captain Emily Conroe who dropped 19 points while shooting 70-percent from the field (8-11). Conroe also added three steals and five rebounds to her stat line. Sophomores Briana Autrey-Thompson and Riley Snyder were the other two Falcons to score in the double-digits, dropping 12 and 11 points, respectively. Autrey-Thompson registered a five assists and three steals while Snyder picked up three rebounds and an assist.
Air Force freshmen Allyah Marlett and Nikki McDonald came up big on the boards, snagging six apiece, and accounting for more than a third of the Falcons' total rebounds. McDonald, who made her third-straight start tonight, dropped six points.

Nevada was led by Essence Booker's 17 points while Alyssa Jimenez and Nia Alexander pulled the weight in rebounds, collecting six and five, respectively. The Pack's bench outscored the Air Force bench, 25-10.
IMMEL SETS THE STANDARD
Junior co-team captain Kaelin Immel is the Falcons' leading scorer, averaging 15.0 ppg. The native of Beaverton, Oregon, has 18 double-figure scoring marks and four 20+ point performances on the season, highlighted by a season-high 28 points against defending Mountain West champs, Boise State (Jan. 15). She is the fifth-leading scorer and has the ninth-best field goal percentage (.405) in the MW.
CLIMBING THE ALL-TIME LADDER
Following her 14-point performance at LBSU (Dec. 18), Immel became the 16th all-time Falcon to achieve 1,000 career points at Air Force. Immel, who now has 1,181 career points, is the 10th all-time leading scorer in program history and fourth leading scorer in the Division I era. The next rung up on the all-time and Div. I scoring ladder is Alecia Steele with 1,237 career points.
CONROE ON THE CAREER STATS LADDER
Junior teammate Emily Conroe is following Immel's lead in the all-time points pursuit with 861 career points, a mark that ranks her 12th in the Div. I era, recently surpassing Elycia Hall (1995-99) who had 854 career points.
Emily Conroe has 499 career rebounds, 349 are defensive, and 150 are offensive. Conroe will become this sixth Falcon in Div. I history to achieve the feat. She is currently sixth in the Div. I career-rebounding record book while former teammate, Cortney Porter, is fourth with 571 from 2015-18.

Air Force is 14th in the nation in offensive rebounds per game (15.5 orpg), 20th in steals with 230 and 22nd in steals per game (11.0).
