Falcons Set for Virtual Meet with William & Mary

Action will take place at 5:00 p.m. (MT) on Saturday, March 27.
The Air Force men's gymnastics team closes out the regular season this week, when its hosts William and Mary in a virtual competition. The 14th-ranked Falcons, competing at Cadet West Gym, will face off with the 12th-ranked Tribe, who will be competing at their home venue in Williamsburg. The meet, which will also feature remote judging, will be contested through the virtual platform, Virtius.

LET'S MEET THE TRIBE
William and Mary, which is ranked 12th in the national standings with a three-score average of 383.717, last competed on March 6, when it dropped a 403.700-384.900 decision to top-ranked Oklahoma. Aidan Cuy is currently ranked among the nation's top 20 in the all-around, holding a three-score average of 75.083 (20th). It is the first time the Tribe and Falcons have faced off with one another since the USAG Collegiate Nationals in 2019.
AIR FORCE IN THE RANKINGS
With a three-meet average of 381.250, Air Force is ranked 14th in the national standings. The Falcons are ranked a team-high 11th on the parallel bars (64.567), while Garrett Braunton is listed among the nation's top 20 in the all-around (76.400, 17th) and just outside that mark on the high bar (13.400, 21st).
WHAT'S AHEAD FOR THE FALCONS
The Falcons remain at the Academy next week, as they open the postseason hosting the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships on Saturday, April 3. Air Force will welcome California, Oklahoma and Stanford to the Cadet West Gym for a 1:00 p.m. (MT) contest.
