The Falcons hit the road for a pair of league matches, taking on WAC newcomer, Chicago State, on Friday, October 1, and Houston Baptist, Sunday, October 3. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. CT, at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Illinois, and at 2:30 p.m. CT at Sorrels Field, Houston, Texas.
A QUICK LOOK AT THE FALCONS
Following a tough non-conference slate, the Falcons opened the WAC schedule on a high note, after a strong 90-minute performance pushed Air Force past San Jose State, 2-0, Saturday afternoon (Sept. 25) at Cadet Soccer Stadium. Air Force senior Tristan Trager scored the first goal from a set piece while senior co-team captain Giuliano Daniel serviced junior midfielder Luke Hill for the second goal.
As a team, Air Force has scored 13 goals while allowing opponents 14 on the season. The Falcons' largest margin of victory was 5-1 against Evansville. The Falcons have the third-best scoring offense in the WAC (1.86 GPG) and take the third-most shots per game in the league (13.00)
Individually, four Falcons share the lead in goals scored, with Daniel, Hill, Trager and Thaddaeus Dewing scoring two goals apiece. Giuliano Daniel leads the squad with eight points, boasting a team-high four assists this season, tying him with three other WAC players for most assists this season. In regards to firepower, Trager is second in the league averaging three shots per game.
In goal, Kainoa Likewise averages 1.95 goals allowed per game and has one shutout to his credit. He has 22 saves this season for fifth-most in the WAC.
THE SERIES AGAINST CSU
The meeting will mark the first-ever match between the programs. AF and CSU have had no common opponents this season.
THE SERIES AGAINST HBU
The match marks the 18th meeting between the teams. In 2019, Air Force and HBU met for the first-ever in conference playoff action, where Air Force won, 3-2, at USAFA. The Falcons lead the 17-match series, 11-4-2. Air Force has won the last six meetings, holding the Huskies scoreless three of those matches. The Falcons are 6-2-1 against HBU when playing at USAFA and 5-2-1 in Houston.
LAST TIME THEY PLAYED
Air Force finalized the belated 2020 regular season on a high note, defeating Houston Baptist, 2-1, in a Friday evening Western Athletic Conference matchup at the Academy. The Falcons, who celebrated their senior class prior to the match, finalized the regular season campaign at 4-4-1 while the Huskies put their season in the books at 0-9-2.

Air Force returns to Cadet Soccer Stadium to host UTRGV and Incarnate Word, Friday (Oct. 8) and Sunday (Oct. 10), respectively. Action is slated for 6 p.m. MT and 1 p.m. MT, respectively.

Grand Canyon leads the league in least goals allowed (6), goals against average (0.85) and shutouts (3). Chicago State has the most saves (37).
