COVID-19 Update
-Current Department of Defense and Air Force Academy policies require all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a mask when indoors in all Academy facilities, including the press box, Blue and Silver Club, suites, elevators and restrooms. All individuals who have not been fully vaccinated must also wear masks outdoors at all times while on the installation. Fans who are fully vaccinated and are not required to wear a mask when outdoors. Anyone with a COVID-19 diagnosis within the previous 10 days, or any symptoms suggestive of possible COVID-19, or a recent close contact with an individual known to be positive for COVID-19 should not come to the stadium. These policies will be constantly evaluated and any changes will be communicated.
Series History vs. New Mexico
-In what will be the 50th meeting between the two schools, Air Force owns a 4-45 record all-time against New Mexico.
-The Falcons were victorious in their most previous meeting in Albuquerque, defeating the Lobos 79-66 on February 24, 2020.
-A season ago, Air Force split a pair of home games with New Mexico, having lost 80-66 on February 23, 2021 before beating the Lobos 75-73 the following day.
Last Time Out
-The Falcons completed the season sweep of the Rams on Saturday, and did so in comeback fashion, taking their first lead after 38 minutes of play en route to a 67-63 win.
-Cierra Winters didn't record a point in Wednesday's win over Wyoming, but the same could not be said this afternoon. Winters exploded for a team-high 19 points, the result of an efficient 8-14 day from the field.
-Riley Snyder and Lauren McDonald also finished with 15 points each, with McDonald providing the go-ahead bucket in the final quarter.
-McDonald's 15 points matches her career-high, which coincidentally was set earlier this season in Air Force's road win at CSU.
-Haley Jones ended her day with 12 rebounds, the eighth time this season she has managed at least 10 rebounds.

-Now with 13 wins overall and seven wins within the Mountain West, the Falcons have matched the program's respective Division I bests in both categories with still six regular season games remaining.
-The Falcons next win will become the program's newest benchmark in regards to both overall and conference wins in a season in Division I play, which started in 1996.
An Unstoppable Force meets an Immovable Object
-Air Force enters Wednesday leading the Mountain West Conference in opponent's points per game (57.0), while New Mexico leads the conference in scoring (76.4 PPG)
-As well, the Falcons own a conference best 25.9% opponent three-point percentage, though the Lobos lead the MW with a 37.3% three-point percentage.
-New Mexico also leads the MW in such categories as field goal percentage (45.8%), assists (17.1 PG), and blocked shots (4.4 PG). The Lobos are the only team in the Mountain West with at least 100 blocked shots.
Turnovers Are Key
-Air Force continues to lead the MW in regards to turnover margin (+6.13), with New Mexico ranking third among MW teams (+1.16).
-The Falcons turnover margin ranks 15th in DI, while Air Force also ranks 21st among DI teams in turnovers forced (20.6 PG).
Riley's Right on Track
-Riley Snyder enters Wednesday with 1,438 career points, as she still sits second all-time in regards to Divison I scoring in program history.
-Snyder trails all-time leader Kaelin Immel by 93 points (1,531 pts.) with six regular season games remaining.
-Against Colorado State, Snyder made her 100th career start for Air Force, becoming only the 9th player in program D1 history to start at least 100 games.
Fab Freshmen
-With 74 assists in her first 23 career games, Jo Huntimer has produced the 6th-most assists among AF freshmen since 1996.
-Cortney Porter owns the freshman assists record with 118.
-Huntimer's assist-to-turnover ratio (1.76) ranks eighth in the MW.
-Lauren McDonald's 40.4% three-point percentage currently ranks third among AF freshmen in the Division I era.
Cierra is a Star
-If the season ended today, Cierra Winters' 44.6% field goal percentage would become the 6th-highest seasonal field goal percentage in DI program history.
-Winters' 62 steals in 23 games gives her a 2.7 steals per game mark, 27th-best among all DI players.

-After missing the majority of the 2020-21 season, senior Haley Jones is tied for second in the MW averaging 9.1 rebounds per game.
-Jones' work on the offensive end has been a revelation for the Falcons, as she leads the conference with 4.2 offensive rebounds per game.
-Her offensive rebounds per game figure also ranks 12th among all DI players.
Tough Climbing Out of This Pit
-New Mexico is 12-1 at home this season, their only loss coming on Saturday, a 60-59 defeat against Wyoming.
-The environment in Albuquerque will itself be a test for Air Force, as New Mexico averages the highest attendance among all MW teams with a 4,034-person average audience at The Pit.
