GAME ONE
-After trailing 5-0 against the Gophers, the Falcons managed eight unanswered runs, including a five-run 7th inning to notch the 8-7 comeback win at U.S. Bank Stadium.
-Blake Covin led Air Force with three hits in five at-bats, driving in one of Air Force's five runs in the 7th.
-Sam Kulasingam finished his evening 2-4 with 3 RBI.
-Trayden Tamiya also had 3 RBI, as his 8th inning two-out, two-run single proved to be difference in the game.
-Tamiya also saved a run in the bottom of the 8th, when the junior dove to his left, making a crucial forehand stop to prevent the tying run from scoring.
-C4C Jason Booker made the most of his first collegiate start, as the Air Force left fielder went 2-4 with a double and a run driven in.
-Gabriel Garcia also ended the evening 2-4.
-Seungmin Shim picked up his second win of the season, and battled for six innings.
-He allowed five runs on seven hits, three strikeouts and two walks, but after giving up four runs in his first three innings, Shim settled in, giving up just a single run over his last three frames.
GAME TWO
-Air Force drew 13 walks against Minnesota pitching, as the constant traffic on the bases guided the Falcons to a 15-6 win.
-Air Force scored in each of the first three innings, though a massive eight-run 5th put the game out of reach.
-Blake Covin, Sam Kulasingam, and Braydon Altorfer each managed two hits and combined to drive in nine of Air Force's 15 runs.
-Rob Martin, picking up his first win of 2022, was pulled after seeing his team give him a 14-1 lead going into the bottom of the 5th.
-The senior was solid through four innings, allowing just one run on three hits and four strikeouts.
GAME THREE
-After carrying a 6-4 lead, a three-run Minnesota 7th proved to be the difference in Air Force's 7-6 loss on Sunday.
-Blake Covin, Braydon Altorfer, Aerik Joe, and Trayden Tamiya each had two hits, as Altorfer clubbed his fourth home run of the season in 4th.
-Gabriel Garcia was 1-2, as his first home run of 2022, a solo blast, opened the scoring in the 2nd.
-Ryan Stohr made his third start of the season, but lasted just 2.2 innings after walking four of the 10 batters he faced. Kyle Moats, who entered in the 6th, was hit with the loss after allowing three runs in 0.2 innings of work.
-Still, after winning the first two games of the three-game series, the Falcons grabbed their first series win of the season.

-Returning to the lineup, Blake Covin finished 7-12 at the plate in three games at Minnesota, including a double and four walks.
