MEET INFORMATION | PACIFIC COAST INTERCOLLEGIATE & BEACH INVITATIONAL
The Pacific Coast Intercollegiate (April 13) and Beach Invitational (April 14-15) – a fixture on the Falcons' schedule – will be held at Jack Rose Track on the Long Beach State University campus. Daily tickets, which will be sold out of the ticket office at Walter Pyramid, are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors (60+) and youth (3-12), while a Clear Bag Policy is in effect for all spectators. Live results will be available at FinishedResults.com.
AIR FORCE IN THE RANKINGS
Highlighted by Ryan Johnson's No. 9 ranking in the 10,000-meter run, three Falcons are listed among the NCAA Top 30 in the April 3 edition of the TFRRS national standings. Johnson clocked an Academy Record time of 28:20.70 in his first 10K of the year at the Stanford Invitational, while Eli Bennett (13:42.70) and Sean Maison (13:46.78) are ranked 20th and 28th, respectively, in the 5000-meter event after their first race of the season at that meet.
SQUAD GOALS
With a combined time of 55:20.1, the men's 5000-meter quartet of Eli Bennett, Sean Maison, Ethan Marshall and Scott Maison are ranked fourth in the April 10 edition of the USTFCCCA #EventSquad rankings – which are determined by the cumulative season-best marks from a team's top-four athletes on the national descending order list. The men's hammer throw lineup of Cooper Stroka, Jaret Prete, Texas Tanner, and Gerrit Tamminga are listed among the nation's Top 11 (No. 11, 239m), while the quartet from the 110-meter hurdles (Cameron Harris, Darek Hackett, Philip Hundl, Braeden Holcombe: 57.97) is ranked 15th.
COMING UP
The Falcons head back to California next weekend (April 21-22), as selected athletes will compete at Stanford's Payton Jordan Invitational.
