Other Falcons with strong showings were Maeve Linscott and Jena Nowoswiat who both finished sixth in the 200 breast (2:15.45) and 200 fly (2:01.60), respectively— Both setting personal best times at the meet. Ryan Mills finished seventh in the 100 freestyle (50.51), and Katie Andrist claimed 10th in the 1,650 freestyle (16:55.59).
"Our team worked very hard the first half of this season," head coach Colleen Murphy said. "They saw the results of all their dedication and commitment at this meet. We had a multitude of lifetime best swims and every swimmer went season bests, the two school records were the icing on the cake.
We are excited for the second half of our season, it's back to work as we prepare for the Mountain West Championships."
Next up, the Falcons will take a small break in action before heading out to the CSCAA Open Water National Championships, December 15, in Miami, Florida.
