Week three of the Air Force women's gymnastics team's 2024 slate takes the Falcons to San Jose, as they face off in a televised competition on Sunday afternoon with the San Jose State Spartans.

Cornering MW Superlatives:
Through the first two weeks, freshman all-arounder Maggie Slife has dominated the Mountain West's weekly honors list, earning back-to-back Gymnast of the Week and Freshman of the Week recognition and Co-Balance Beam Specialist of the Week after scoring a 9.875 in the event, the highest mark by a freshman on any event in the Mountain West that week to finish first in the event in the Falcons' meet at Utah State (Jan. 26).

In its second meet of the 2024 season, the Air Force women's gymnastics team closed week two of competition at the Utah State dual with a 193.925.
The Falcons' collective results were again headlined by a sterling performance from freshman all-arounder and Mountain West Gymnast of the Week Maggie Slife, who ended the evening with a 39.300 – topping her accolade-worthy showings the week prior by .025. Slife led or tied Air Force's top marks in all events, posting a 9.800-or-better in all four rotations.
On uneven bars, the Falcons earned 48.575, topping their week one score by .025. Slife's 9.825 and sophomore Madison Carlisle's 9.800 both led the event for Air Force, with Carlisle's figure setting a new career high.
Air Force earned a 47.900 on vault, topped by a 9.800 for Slife and tying her mark set the week prior.
Moving to floor exercise, the Falcons finished with a 48.625, topping Utah State's 48.400. Slife and junior Ayla McKean both finished with a 9.800. McKean, making her floor debut on Friday night, earned her best score since the 2022 season.
Closing the evening on the balance beam, Air Force put up its strongest numbers of the evening, finishing with a 48.800 and earning its strongest marks of the night to best Utah State while improving from week two. Slife took a big step forward in the event, scoring a 9.875 to match the Falcons' high score in the event from week one and finish at the top of the podium. Sophomore Kylee Greene followed up with a 9.825 – setting another top-three program score in the event in as many weeks.
