
Track & Field Hands Out Annual Awards

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – The Air Force track and field team announced its award winners for the 2024 season this evening (May 19), as the Falcons' coaching staff recognized 11 seniors, nine underclassmen and two managers for their success and contributions to the program during the annual end-of-the-year awards banquet at the Academy's Cadet Lodge.

Falcon Award for Spirit and Enthusiasm: Caiden Macktinger
Paul Gensic Resiliency Award: Kasarah Hernandez
Bret Hyde Award for Drive and Determination: Javin Bostic
Callie Calhoun Award for Drive and Determination: Halle Hamilton
Newcomer of the Year | Men: Wyatt Curl
Newcomer of the Year | Women: Liliane Aittama

In addition to the athletes honored, two managers were also recognized, as senior Aiden McLaughlin was named Manager of the Year and senior Meg Ramya earned the team's Creative Content award.
Although the Falcons handed out their annual awards this evening, the 2024 season is far from over. Fifteen Falcons will travel to Fayetteville, Ark., this week for the opening round of the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships – and a chance to advance to next month's final site in Eugene.
