Women's Swim and Dive Leads Competition on First Day of Front Range Invite

DENVER, Colo., - Air Force women's swimming and diving opened the 2025-26 season on Friday October 3rd at the Front Range Invitational. The swim portion was held at Denver University, while the diving took place at USAFA. The swimmers completed day one leading the competition with a team score of 434.
The pair of Falcon relays finished third, with the 400 medley at 3:47.86 and the 200 free at 1:35.51.
Team captain, Maeve Linscott locked in a second place finish in the 200 breast, clocking a time of 2:20.22, with Naomi Furman (2:22.00) and Mandy Fleetwood (2:22.96) behind in fourth and fifth.
In the 200 back, freshman Elizabeth Sistrunk made her collegiate debut earning second place (2:02.97), while fellow newcomer Sadie Hartig placed fourth (2:05.56).
Jordan Evans logged a time of 2:06.63 for second in the 200 IM, while Harting claimed the bronze spot (2:05.56).
Jena Nowoswiat placed third in the 200 fly (2:06.36).
Chloe Perkins led the divers competing at USAFA, placing second with a score of 274.75 on the 3-meter springboard. Freshman Mariah Caldwell claimed fifth in her collegiate debut, scoring 239.50.
The Falcons will return to the pool on Saturday October 4 to continue Front Range Invite action, at 10 a.m. MT.
