The Falcons' Saturday afternoon tilt against Manhattan will be available for viewership on the Mountain West Network free of charge; XtraSports AM 1300 will carry the radio broadcast from Clune Arena with Ryan Kaufman on the courtside call; Live scoring/stats will be provided via StatBroadcast; Links to each can be found on the women's basketball schedule page at goairforcefalcons.com.
Falcons at a Glance:
Air Force scoring is currently paced by senior Milahnie Perry (11.5) and junior Jordyn Devaughn (8.3). Through three games, the Falcons rank second among Mountain West teams in turnovers forced per game (20.33) and third in turnover margin (7.67).
Saturday Action at the Academy:
Clune Arena will see plays host to a basketball doubleheader on Saturday, starting off with a noon tip-off for men's basketball against Miami (Ohio), followed by the women against Manhattan at 3 p.m. Men's ice hockey will host its second game of a back-to-back at Cadet Ice Arena against Holy Cross with a 7:05 p.m. puck drop. At 1 p.m., Air Force volleyball will be defending a four-match win streak in Cadet Gym, hosting New Mexico.
All-Time Watch:
Perry is currently 10th on Air Force's all-time scoring leaderboard (1,283 career points). The senior is three points from surpassing Madison Smith for ninth and 456 points removed from the #1 spot (332 away from the Division I record). In consecutive seasons, Perry has scored the third and fourth most points ever by a Falcon – figures which rank first and second in Air Force's Division I history (1996-current).
Freshman Connection:
Freshman pair Bhret Clay and Maddy Jensen have shown their potential in Air Force's first three games, providing a boost from the Falcon bench. Jensen led the Falcons in scoring in Air Force's 59-50 win at Denver (Nov. 3). Clay is currently 4-6 from three-point range and is one of four Falcons with five or more steals.
Last Time Out:
Air Force Women's Basketball found itself within a single possession late in the game on Monday evening at defending West Coast Conference Oregon State. In a game of runs, it was the Beavers who struck last, outscoring the Falcons 9-2 to close out the game in a 60-49 Air Force loss at Gill Coliseum.
Junior and Oregon native Keelie O'Hollaren led Air Force with a season-best 13 points and three steals; Fellow junior Jordyn Devaughn scored 11 and senior Milahnie Perry added 10 and five assists; Jayda McNabb, with six points on the night, led Air Force in rebounding with seven.
Air Force led Oregon State in free throw percentage (.690), points off turnovers (17), offensive rebounds (14), fast break points (six) and steals (11).
Air Force's History vs. MAAC:
Not only does Saturday's game with Manhattan represent the first-ever meeting between both programs, the contest marks Air Force's first game against a MAAC (Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) opponent in the program's 50 seasons.
Mile-High Trends:
In 2024-25, Air Force:
In winning games, held 16 of 18 opponents to less than 70 points;
Scored more points off of turnovers than opponents in all 18 wins.
In 2024-25, Air Force was undefeated In Clune when...
Scoring 70 or more points (7-0);
Out-shooting opponents from the field (6-0).
Through the last three seasons, Air Force is:
29-17 at home;
36-4 when scoring 70 or more points (24-1 at home);
8-1 when scoring 80 or more points (7-0 at home);
8-1 when shooting 50 percent or better from the field (4-0 at home);
21-8 when holding opponents to 60 points or less (13-2 at home);
17-6 when out-rebounding opponents (11-2 at home);
17-3 when outscoring opponents in the paint (13-2 at home).
Installation Access Improvements for Intercollegiate Athletic Events:
Access procedures at the U.S. Air Force Academy continue to affect athletic events. While the installation remains open, anyone without a DoD ID card must obtain a visitor pass to enter the base.
New this season: Passes will now be issued monthly instead of requiring a separate submission for each event. This means ticket holders only need to complete the form once per month to gain access to all events during that time. Ticket holders can request a base pass using the link provided below.
After registering, you will receive a message on our phone to present at the gate when entering the Academy. Fans must also present their game tickets at each venue. All tickets and credentialed attendees can enter through the North or South gate. North gate is recommended for access to athletic facilities.
Note: When completing the information from the link, please use the information directly from your driver's license (Legal name vs. nickname). Your ID must also be REAL ID compliant. Anyone under 18 will not be required to do a QR code.
