The Falcons currently rank second in the Mountain West in both offensive rebounding (13.1 rpg), turnovers forced per game (19.0) and turnover margin (+3.58), while also falling in at third in steals per game (9.92). Perry's 16.1 scoring average currently is second-best among Mountain West competitors.
In Air Force's first two conference games, the Falcons have held opponents to .289 shooting from three-point range, a figure which is third best to start league play.
Last Time Out:
Air Force took an early lead and never looked back, earning a 61-45 win over Nevada on Dec. 21 in Clune Arena behind a total-game effort and one of its best shooting performances to date.
The Falcons (7-5, 1-1 MW) dismantled Nevada behind a season-high 9-18 (.500) shooting from three-point range. From the field, Air Force compiled a 24-59 (.410) effort, marking its second-best overall shooting percentage to date in 2025-26. While doing so, the Falcons also managed to hold Nevada (4-8, 0-2 MW) to season lows in both field goals made (13) and field goal percentage (.260) and its second-lowest assist figure as a team this season (five).
Senior Milahnie Perry, scoring a team-high 16 points (6-9 FG, 2-2 3FG, 2-2 FT, 6 REB, 3 AST), overtook Air Force alumna Pat Swanke (1977-81) for sixth all-time in career scoring. Junior Keelie O'Hollaren added 10 points (4-10 FG, 1-4 3FG, 3 REB); Freshman Bhret Clay contributed eight.
For the game, Air Force led the opposition in field goals (24), three-pointers (nine, season high), rebounding (38), assists (15), field goal percentage (.410), three-point field goal percentage (.500), points off of turnovers (21), second-chance points (eight), bench points (23), points in the paint (30), fast-break points (five), steals (five) and assists (15).
Getting at the Glass:
Air Force has out-rebounded opponents in four of its last five contests, going 4-1 in that stretch with wins over Wright State (Nov. 29), Utah Valley (Dec. 6), New Mexico Highlands (Dec. 13) and Nevada.
The Mortar Between the Bricks:
Jayda McNabb has been a steadying force for the Falcons throughout her years at the Academy. As a sophomore, McNabb averaged 7.9 points per game in 2024-25 and earned six double doubles, leading the Falcons in rebounding while finishing ranked second in the Mountain West on the offensive glass.
This season, McNabb leads the MW and ranks second in the nation in offensive rebounding (5.0 rpg). The junior ranks second in the Mountain West in total rebounding (8.8, 53rd nationally) and third in steals per game (2.42).
And Make it a McDouble:
McNabb has scored four double doubles in 2025-26, the most by any player in the Mountain West to date. She is averaging 8.2 points per game while shooting a team-best .513 from the field and has secured double-digit rebounds in four of her last five games.
All-Time Tracker:
Sporting 1,437 career points, Perry is 95 points removed from claiming fifth all time and third in Air Force's Division I history (Kaelin Immel, 2017-21). Perry's 177 points for the season has the senior just 302 points shy of the all-time career scoring record and 178 from the program Division I record with 18 regular season games remaining.
In consecutive seasons, Perry scored the third and fourth most points ever by a Falcon in a single season – figures which rank first and second in Air Force's Division I history (1996-current).
