Falcons Wrap up Weekend in California

STANFORD, Calif. – Four sophomore middle distance runners represented the Air Force track and field team in Northern California this afternoon (April 5), as they wrapped up the weekend with races at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic and Stanford Invitational.

Rachel Fereday paced a trio of women at the Classic in San Francisco, posting an 800-meter time of 2:11.45 to moved up to No. 13 on the Academy's all-time standings and finish 19th in a race that included more than 170 runners. Classmate Camryn Bodine added a top 50 finish in that race, behind an outdoor debut of 2:14.31, while Anna Harden finished fourth out of 34 runners in the Shannon Rowbury Mile (4:58.96).

Over at Stanford, Jonah Hochstetler, the only member of the men's team to compete on Saturday, won his section of the 800-meter run after clocking in at 1:51.97.

The Falcons return to action next week, when members of the team's multi squad head to Azusa, Calif., for the Bryan Clay Multis on April 10-11, and junior Texas Tanner travels to Ramona, Okla., for the Oklahoma Throws Series Invitational on April 10-12.
