Men’s Tennis Opens Season at Reno Invitational

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force men's tennis opens fall play of the 2025-26 season at the Reno Invitational, Friday-Sunday, Sept. 19-21, at McArthur Tennis Center at the University of Nevada campus in Reno, Nevada.
The three-team event will also feature host Nevada and UC Davis.
Friday's action will begin with doubles matches at 10 a.m., followed by rounds of singles play at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Saturday will feature singles play at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. with doubles at 2 p.m., and Sunday begins with two rounds of singles play at 9 and 11 a.m.
Air Force returns a veteran group, led by its senior class of Jack Brown, Phillip Deaton and AJ Moore. Brown is a two-time All-Mountain West doubles honoree, while Deaton earned All-MW singles for the second time in his career. Moore is the team's returning team MVP and serves as team captain for the 2025-26 season.
Bolstering the lineup is a pair of juniors in Alec Fritzinger and Tyler Leaird. Fitzinger provided consistent play for the Falcons as a sophomore and Leaird also contributed in both tournament and duals play.
Air Force also has a talented sophomore class in Matthew Staton and Langdon Tingleaf. Both saw action in duals play in both singles and doubles as freshmen, combining for a pair of MW Freshman of the Week honors last season.
Joining the team this season is freshman Caden Lee. Lee, a native of Tustin, Calif., comes to the Academy after a standout high school career at Beckman High School in Irvine, Calif.
