
Women’s Gymnastics Takes on Boise State, Sacramento State, Utah State in Road Quad

The 6-1 Air Force women's gymnastics team is off to Boise, Idaho, taking on Mountain West opponents Boise State and Utah State, along with Big Sky member Sacramento State. The Falcons will open competition at the Broncos' ExtraMile Arena at 7 p.m. on Friday evening.

Last Time Out:
Air Force improved to a 6-1 start following a 195.225 win in the Falcons' home quad with Boise State (193.750), Eastern Michigan (193.750) and Kent State (193.150). The Falcons earned eight podium finishes on the evening, including a one-two-three performance from all arounders Alyssa Bigler (T-1st, 39.250), Maggie Slife (T-1st, 39.250) and senior Kylee Greene (39.000). A successful outing for the Falcons was highlighted by Bigler's 9.925 finish on balance beam to both tie the Air Force all-time beam score and reset the high score across the Mountain West this season to date.

Air Force currently falls in at 41st nationally, good for third in the Mountain West and ninth among non-Power Four programs (Vault – 40th; Bars – 34th; Beam – 48th; Floor – 35th).
Four Air Force all-arounders currently fall in the top 100 nationally, with Slife leading the way at No. 11. Bigler (45), Greene (75) and senior captain Gabriella Hartley (83) round out the list.
Slife additionally ranks 17th in the nation (third in North Central region) on bars and 35th on floor.

The Falcons kept their tight grip on weekly Mountain West accolades following week three of the 2026 season, as the league announced junior Maggie Slife and sophomore Alyssa Bigler as Co-Gymnasts of the Week on Tuesday afternoon.
In the Falcons' win at home on Jan. 23, both Bigler and Slife finished with a 39.250 to top the conference. In addition to top honors for the week, the Air Force duo added a trio of specialist accolades to an already stacked list of awards in 2026. Slife was named Bars Specialist of the Week following her second 9.900 finish of the season on the apparatus and earned Co-Floor Specialist status (9.875). Bigler's record-tying 9.925 performance on balance beam was a lock for MW Beam Specialist of the Week.
Air Force Gymnastics' collection of Mountain West awards on Tuesday brings the Falcons' season total to 15. Air Force gymnasts have claimed Gymnast of the Week honors in all three weeks to open the season.
