Falcons at a Glance:
Air Force scoring is led by senior Milahnie Perry (17.4 ppg) and junior Keelie O'Hollaren (9.3). The Falcons are second in the Mountain West in both turnover margin (3.33) and turnovers forced per game (17.33), while also ranking third in both steals per game (8.9) and offensive rebounding (12.3 rpg). Perry's 17.4 scoring average currently tops the Mountain West.
Last Time Out:
Air Force Women's Basketball's three-game win streak was snapped on Wednesday evening, as the Falcons fell, 76-59, to the Nevada Wolf Pack at the Lawlor Events Center in Reno.
Senior Milahnie Perry closed the evening with a game high 20 points (6-17 FG, 8-10 FT, 4 REB). Perry drew six fouls on the evening, resulting in an added eight points to her tally. Senior Emily Adams ended on 11 points and a 5-6 showing from the free-throw line.
Air Force (11-13, 5-9 MW) led Nevada (8-16, 4-10 MW) in free throws made (19) and attempted (26), points off of turnovers (11), fast break points (eight) and steals (five).
Last Time Against the Spartans:
A one-two punch from Air Force Women's Basketball's top two scorers propelled the Falcons to a 76-57 win over San Jose State on Jan. 10 in the Spartans' Provident Credit Union Event Center in San Jose, Calif.
Junior Keelie O'Hollaren tied her career high, scoring 25 points to lead all scorers. The Falcon guard finished 5-11 from three-point range marking a game-high in both attempts and three-pointers made. Senior Milahnie Perry added 20 points, nine rebounds (career high) and five steals (tied career high). Junior Jayda McNabb contributed 13 points.
As a team, Air Force's 76 points and 30 scored from the Falcon bench both mark a season high. The Falcons closed their afternoon with an unblemished 15-15 performance from the free throw line, marking the most makes from the stripe without a miss by a Mountain West team this season to date.
Air Force led the opposition in field goals made (26, tied season high), field goal attempts (63), three-pointers made (nine, tied season high), free throws made (15) and attempted (15), rebounds (43) assists (17, season high), points off of turnovers (21), second-chance points (13), bench points (30, season high), points in the paint (30), points off the fast break (16) and blocks (two).
Series History with San Jose State:
Air Force is 13-15 in an all-time series with the Spartans spanning back to a first meeting in 1997. The Falcons are 11-4 in their last 15 meetings with San Jose State, collecting wins in four of the last five games between the two programs.
The Summit Is in Sight:
Now sporting 1,643 career points, Perry secured fourth all time and first in Air Force's Division I history in career scoring in the Falcons' Feb. 7 win over Grand Canyon. Perry's 383 points for the season sets the senior 13 points away from claiming third (Stacey Goss,1982-86) and 96 shy of the all-time career scoring record with seven regular season games remaining.
On Saturday ahead of tip-off, Air Force Director of Athletics Nathan Pine will be in attendance to honor and recognize Perry for the accomplishment.
*Represents Air Force Division I record.
In consecutive seasons, Perry scored the third and fourth most points ever by a Falcon in a single season – figures which rank first and second in Air Force's Division I history (1996-current).
Adams' Upswing:
In her last seven games, senior Emily Adams has averaged 13.0 points, marking the most productive stretch of her Air Force career. Adams' seven 10-plus point games in 2025-26 marks the most double-digit finishes in a single season for the soon-to-be Falcon graduate. On Feb. 4 in Air Force's win against Utah State, Adams finished with a 23-point, 12 rebound double-double. The senior's stellar finish against the Aggies represented her first career double-double, first 20-point finish and also career highs both in rebounds (12) and field goals made in a single game (eight).
The Key Difference:
In seven of its last eight wins, Air Force has won the rebounding game, scoring victories over Wright State (Nov. 29), Utah Valley (Dec. 6), New Mexico Highlands (Dec. 13), Nevada (Dec. 21), San Jose State (Jan. 10), Fresno State (Jan. 31) and Utah State (Feb. 4).
The Mortar Between the Bricks:
Jayda McNabb has been a steadying force for the Falcons throughout her years at the Academy. As a sophomore, McNabb averaged 7.9 points per game in 2024-25 and earned six double doubles, leading the Falcons in rebounding while finishing ranked second in the Mountain West on the offensive glass.
This season, McNabb leads the MW and currently ranks ninth nationally in offensive rebounding (4.3 rpg). As a result, Air Force has led or tied opponents in second-chance points in 14 games. McNabb is also third in the league in total boards (7.9 rpg) and second among Mountain West players in steals per game (2.25). Ahead of Wednesday's game in Reno, McNabb was the only player in the country with at least 100 offensive rebounds and 50 assists in 2025-26.
With 612 career rebounds, McNabb is 9 away from overtaking Raimee Beck (2007-11) for 10th all-time and fifth in Air Force's Division I history.
Home Successes:
The Falcons opened 2025-26 with a 4-0 record inside of Clune Arena, marking the program's third-straight season with a 3-0-or-better home start.
Air Force is 323-329 (.495) all-time in home games, six wins shy of tying the .500 mark. In Air Force's Division II history (1976-96), the Falcons went 188-83 (.694) and earned consecutive winning home records in each of their first 20 seasons. As a result of early successes, the program boasted an all-time winning home record from its 1976 inception until 2014. Having earned a winning record at home in four-straight seasons (the program's longest such streak since joining Division I), Air Force aims to reclaim an above .500 figure inside Clune Arena for the first time in 11 years.
Mile-High Trends:
Air Force is currently:
7-1 when sporting a halftime lead;
9-2 when holding opponents to 60 points or less (4-0 at home);
8-2 when landing more three-point baskets (4-1 at home).
Through the last four seasons, Air Force is:
35-20 at home;
38-5 when scoring 70 or more points (25-1 at home);
8-1 when scoring 80 or more points (7-0 at home);
8-1 when shooting 50 percent or better from the field (4-0 at home);
29-8 when holding opponents to 60 points or less (17-2 at home);
24-9 when out-rebounding opponents (14-4 at home);
23-6 when outscoring opponents in the paint (16-2 at home).
