Perry's 17.6 scoring average currently tops the Mountain West. The senior has put up an average of 22 points in her last six games.
Last Time Out:
Air Force Women's Basketball led by as much as 12 points in the third quarter in their Wednesday evening contest at Boise State but saw its advantage fall away and the Broncos pull ahead late, resulting in a 70-62 loss at ExtraMile Arena in Boise, Idaho.
For the game, senior Milahnie Perry finished with 20 points (9-24 FG, 0-2 3FG, 2-3 FT), marking her third consecutive 20-point finish and 10th this season. Fellow senior Emily Adams closed on 16 points (6-12 FG, 4-6 FT) and a game high nine rebounds. Junior Jayda McNabb contributed 11 points (4-9 FG, 1-2 3FG, 2-2 FT) and seven boards.
Air Force (12-14, 6-10 MW) led Boise State (21-6, 12-4 MW) rebounds (34), points off of turnovers (16), second chance points (12) and points in the paint (36).
Adams' Upswing:
In her last nine games, senior Emily Adams has averaged 14 points, marking the most productive stretch of her Air Force career. Adams' eight 10-plus point games in 2025-26 marks the most double-digit finishes in a single season for the soon-to-be Falcon graduate. On Feb. 4 in Air Force's win against Utah State, Adams finished with a 23-point, 12 rebound double-double. The senior's marquis finish against the Aggies represented her first career double-double, first 20-point finish and also career highs both in rebounds (12) and field goals made in a single game (eight).
The Key Difference:
In seven of its last eight wins, Air Force has won the rebounding game, scoring victories over Wright State (Nov. 29), Utah Valley (Dec. 6), New Mexico Highlands (Dec. 13), Nevada (Dec. 21), Fresno State (Jan. 31), Utah State (Feb. 4) and a pair over San Jose State (Jan. 10, Feb.14).
The Mortar Between the Bricks:
Jayda McNabb has been a steadying force for the Falcons throughout her years at the Academy. As a sophomore, McNabb averaged 7.9 points per game in 2024-25 and earned six double doubles, leading the Falcons in rebounding while finishing ranked second in the Mountain West on the offensive glass.
This season, McNabb leads the MW and currently ranks eighth nationally in offensive rebounding (4.3 rpg). As a result, Air Force has led or tied opponents in second-chance points in 16 games. McNabb is also third in the league in total boards (7.8 rpg) and second among Mountain West players in steals per game (2.27).
With 626 career rebounds, McNabb is 31 away from overtaking Dymond James (2009-13) for 9th all-time and fourth in Air Force's Division I history.
The Summit Is In Sight:
Now sporting 1,683 career points, Perry secured third all-time in career scoring in Air Force's Feb. 14 win over San Jose State, surpassing Falcon alumna Stacey Goss (1982-86) for the distinction. Perry's 423 points for the season sets the senior 24 points away from claiming second (Michelle Johnson, 1,706) and 56 shy of the all-time career scoring record with four regular season games to go.
*Represents Air Force Division I record.
In consecutive seasons, Perry scored the third and fourth most points ever by a Falcon in a single year – figures which rank first and second for a player in Air Force's Division I history (1996-current).
Mile-High Trends:
Air Force is currently:
8-1 when sporting a halftime lead;
9-2 when holding opponents to 60 points or less (4-0 at home);
8-2 when landing more three-point baskets (4-1 at home).
Through the last four seasons, Air Force is:
