Falcons at a Glance:
Air Force scoring is led by senior Milahnie Perry (16.9 ppg) and junior Keelie O'Hollaren (9.3). The Falcons are second in the Mountain West in both turnover margin (3.05) and turnovers forced per game (17.59), while also ranking third in steals per game (9.2) and offensive rebounding (12.5 rpg). Perry's 16.7 scoring average currently ranks second in the Mountain West.
Last Time Out:
After falling to Utah State on road in the Air Force women's basketball team's Mountain West opener, The Falcons exacted their revenge over the Aggies on Wednesday night, scoring a 73-50 win in Clune Arena.
Senior tandem Emily Adams and Milahnie Perry both led Air Force scoring with 23 and 19 points, respectively. Adams' game high, 23-point, 12-rebound double-double represents career marks in both categories and the first double-double of her Falcon career. Adams closed the evening 8-15 from the field, including a three-pointer on her lone attempt of the night in the fourth quarter. Eight baskets on Wednesday's outing for the senior also represents a career best. Perry's 19 points lifts her career total to 1,597 – 18 points shy of claiming the program Division I scoring record.
Air Force ended the night on an even 11-22 (.500) from three-point range, matching a season-best percentage while landing the most threes in a single game since the Falcons went 11-19 (.579) in a win at Colorado State on Feb. 1 of last season. Air Force logged 20 assists in the game, marking both a season high and the most since putting up 22 in an 82-77 win at Utah State on Feb. 19 of last season. Adams' marquis scoring night marks the third-straight game for the senior to reset her career best.
Air Force topped Utah State in field goal percentage (.369) field goals made (24) and attempted (65), three-pointers made (11) and attempted (22), free throws made (14), free throw percentage (.780), rebounds (42), assists (20 – season high), blocks (5 – season high), points off of turnovers (16), second-chance points (13), fast break points (six) and steals (nine).
Falcons to Honor Space Force with Alternate Uniforms:
On Saturday, the Falcon women's and men's basketball teams will be donning a United States Space Force (USSF)-inspired alternate uniform. The USSF has partnered with Air Force Athletics to provide the unique fit for the 2025-26 athletic year across multiple sports within the Falcon program.
The new uniforms for each team will feature the following elements:
Official Space Force word marks and typography, in addition to the Delta mark of the USSF;
The four Space Force Core Values: Courage, Commitment, Connection, Character;
A fusing together of the official marks of both the Air Force Academy and USSF, showing the Polaris star and orbit around the Academy "AF-" A visual which represents the interconnectedness between the United States Air Force and U.S. Space Force;
"Semper Supra", the Space Force motto, meaning "Always Above".
The Joint Mission:
The U.S. Air Force Academy is the premier undergraduate commissioning source for the USSF. Each year, about 10 percent of each class commissions as Space Force Guardians. The Academy has always been the place for space, housing one of the only undergraduate programs in the nation to design, develop and fly real-world satellites and to offer space-focused majors. Additionally, the Academy hosts Azimuth each year, which is a three-week program modeled after NASA's two-year Astronaut Training Program, which is designed to introduce cadets to operations in the space domain.
Space is critical to our way of life and vital to our nation's defense. The USSF was founded to protect national interests in, from, through and to space. The U.S. Air Force Academy's sole mission is to train and inspire and equip men and women to lead these efforts.
Adams' Upswing:
In her last five games, senior Emily Adams has averaged 14.4 points, marking the most productive stretch of her Air Force career. Adams' six 10-plus point games in 2025-26 marks the most double-digit finishes in a single season for the soon-to-be Falcon graduate. Wednesday evening's finish against Utah State represents her first career double-double, first 20-point finish and also career highs in rebounds (12) and field goals made in a single game (eight).
The Key Difference:
In its last seven wins, Air Force has won the rebounding game, scoring victories over Wright State (Nov. 29), Utah Valley (Dec. 6), New Mexico Highlands (Dec. 13), Nevada (Dec. 21), San Jose State (Jan. 10), Fresno State (Jan. 31) and Utah State (Feb. 4).
The Mortar Between the Bricks:
Jayda McNabb has been a steadying force for the Falcons throughout her years at the Academy. As a sophomore, McNabb averaged 7.9 points per game in 2024-25 and earned six double doubles, leading the Falcons in rebounding while finishing ranked second in the Mountain West on the offensive glass.
This season, McNabb leads the MW and currently ranks third in the nation in offensive rebounding (4.6 rpg). As a result, Air Force has led or tied opponents in second-chance points in 14 games. McNabb is also third in the league in total boards (8.5 rpg) and is second among Mountain West players in steals per game (2.23).
All-Time Tracker:
Sporting 1,597 career points, Perry is 18 points removed from claiming fourth all time and first in Air Force's Division I history, surpassing Riley Snyder (2018-22). Perry's 337 points for the season has the senior just 142 points shy of the all-time career scoring record with eight regular season games remaining.
*Represents Division I record.
In consecutive seasons, Perry scored the third and fourth most points ever by a Falcon in a single season – figures which rank first and second in Air Force's Division I history (1996-current).
Mile-High Trends:
Air Force is currently:
7-1 when sporting a halftime lead;
9-2 when holding opponents to 60 points or less (4-0 at home);
8-2 when landing more three-point baskets (4-1 at home).
Through the last four seasons, Air Force is:
34-20 at home;
38-5 when scoring 70 or more points (25-1 at home);
8-1 when scoring 80 or more points (7-0 at home);
8-1 when shooting 50 percent or better from the field (4-0 at home);
29-8 when holding opponents to 60 points or less (17-2 at home);
24-9 when out-rebounding opponents (14-4 at home);
22-5 when outscoring opponents in the paint (16-2 at home).
Home Successes:
The Falcons opened 2025-26 with a 4-0 record inside of Clune Arena, marking the program's third-straight season with a 3-0-or-better home start.
Air Force is 322-329 (.495) all time in home games at Clune Arena, seven wins shy of tying the .500 mark. In Air Force's Division II history (1976-96), the Falcons went 188-83 (.694) and earned consecutive winning home records in each of their first 20 seasons. As a result of early successes, the program boasted an all-time winning home record from its 1976 inception until 2014. Having earned a winning record at home in four-straight seasons (the program's longest such streak since joining Division I), Air Force aims to reclaim an above .500 figure inside Clune Arena for the first time in 11 years.
ADA Access to Clune Arena:
All three sets of stairs and west ADA ramp into Clune Arena are now fully operational. We appreciate the patience of our fans and look forward to welcoming them back to our athletics events with this completed project.
Installation Access Improvements for Intercollegiate Athletic Events:
Access procedures at the U.S. Air Force Academy continue to affect athletic events. While the installation remains open, anyone without a DoD ID card must obtain a visitor pass to enter the base.
New this year: Passes will now be issued monthly instead of requiring a separate submission for each event. This means ticket holders only need to complete the form once per month to gain access to all events during that time. Ticket holders can request a base pass using the link provided below.
After registering, you will receive a message on our phone to present at the gate when entering the Academy. Fans must also present their game tickets at each venue. All tickets and credentialed attendees can enter through the North or South gate. North gate is recommended for access to athletic fields; while fans are encouraged to use the North and South gates for football games.
Note: When completing the information from the link, please use the information directly from your driver's license (Robert vs. Bob). Your ID must also be REAL ID compliant. Anyone under 18 will not be required to do a QR code.
