The Falcons are second in the Mountain West in both turnover margin (3.17) and turnovers forced per game (17.52), while also ranking third in both steals per game (9.1) and offensive rebounding (12.5 rpg). Perry's 17.3 scoring average currently tops the Mountain West.
Last Time Out:
A big win for the Air Force Women's Basketball team will leave a lasting mark on the Falcons' record book, as Air Force secured its third-straight win on Saturday afternoon, downing Grand Canyon, 65-64, in Clune Arena.
Air Force, who led for the majority of the contest, saw its advantage dwindle and vanish late in the fourth quarter. GCU held a one-point lead in the final minute. On the Falcons' final possession of the game, senior Milahnie Perry dropped in the go-ahead score with eight seconds remaining to ultimately lift the Falcons to victory.
Now sporting 1,623 points for her Air Force career, Perry surpassed Falcon alumna Riley Snyder (2018-22) to become the highest scoring player in Air Force's Division I history. Perry led all Falcon scorers for the afternoon, finishing the day with 26 points (9-23 FG, 8-10 FT, 5 AST). Junior Jayda McNabb added 14 points (4-7 FG, 5-6 FT, 6 AST); Junior Keelie O'Hollaren finished the day with 11 points; Senior Emily Adams closed with eight points and 10 rebounds.
Air Force (11-12, 5-8 MW) led Grand Canyon (9-15, 8-6 MW) in free throws made (16) and attempted (20), assists (14), steals (seven), points off of turnovers (16), points in the paint (28), and bench points (six).
Adams' Upswing:
In her last six games, senior Emily Adams has averaged 13.3 points, marking the most productive stretch of her Air Force career. Adams' six 10-plus point games in 2025-26 marks the most double-digit finishes in a single season for the soon-to-be Falcon graduate. On Feb. 4 in Air Force's win against Utah State, Adams finished with a 23-point, 12 rebound double-double. The senior's marquis finish against the Aggies represente her first career double-double, first 20-point finish and also career highs both in rebounds (12) and field goals made in a single game (eight).
The Key Difference:
In seven of its last eight wins, Air Force has won the rebounding game, scoring victories over Wright State (Nov. 29), Utah Valley (Dec. 6), New Mexico Highlands (Dec. 13), Nevada (Dec. 21), San Jose State (Jan. 10), Fresno State (Jan. 31) and Utah State (Feb. 4).
The Mortar Between the Bricks:
Jayda McNabb has been a steadying force for the Falcons throughout her years at the Academy. As a sophomore, McNabb averaged 7.9 points per game in 2024-25 and earned six double doubles, leading the Falcons in rebounding while finishing ranked second in the Mountain West on the offensive glass.
This season, McNabb leads the MW and currently ranks seventh nationally in offensive rebounding (4.4 rpg). As a result, Air Force has led or tied opponents in second-chance points in 14 games. McNabb is also third in the league in total boards (8.2 rpg) and second among Mountain West players in steals per game (2.26).
With 610 career rebounds, McNabb is 11 away from overtaking Raimee Beck (2007-11) for 10th all time and fifth in Air Force's Division I history.
The Summit Is In Sight:
Now sporting 1,623 career points, Perry secured fourth all time and first in Air Force's Division I history in career scoring in the Falcons' Feb. 7 win over Grand Canyon. Perry's 363 points for the season sets the senior 33 points away from claiming third (Stacey Goss, 1982-86) and 116 shy of the all-time career scoring record with seven regular season games remaining.
*Represents Division I record.
In consecutive seasons, Perry scored the third and fourth most points ever by a Falcon in a single season – figures which rank first and second in Air Force's Division I history (1996-current).
Mile-High Trends:
Air Force is currently:

9-2 when holding opponents to 60 points or less (4-0 at home);
8-2 when landing more three-point baskets (4-1 at home).
