MEN RETURN TO NCAA TOP 20
The men returned to the nation's top 20 this week, as they moved up to No. 20 in this week's edition of the USTFCCCA National Rankings, marking the third-straight week that the Falcons have been listed among the NCAA Top 25. The No. 20 placement is the second-highest ranking in program history.
AIR FORCE IN THE NATIONAL RANKINGS
Backed by top-five rankings from Texas Tanner and Morgan Glaser, four Falcons are listed among the NCAA Top 10. Tanner, using his non-Ramona marks, is ranked fourth in the discus throw (62.08m) and sixth in the hammer throw (72.26m), while Glaser is listed fifth in the high jump at 1.87 meters. In addition, Jettason Rose is ranked eighth in the 200-emter dash (20.45, altitude) and Jayden Nats is listed ninth in the 10,000-meter run (27:59.31).
SQUAD GOALS
With a combined distance of 224.13 meters, the men's discus quartet of Texas Tanner, Evan Keefe, Massimo Grisotto and Ian Morris are currently ranked No. 2 in the April 14 installment of the USTFCCCA #EventSquad Rankings – which are determined by the cumulative season-best marks from a team's top four athletes. The men's steeplechase lineup of Junior Allen, Josh Shriver, Cody Kelley and Ashton Higgerson are ranked ninth (37:06.33), while Air Force also maintains top-20 marks in the pole vault {No. 12 men, No. 5 women}, men's 5000-meter run (No. 14), men's hammer throw (No. 15) and women's high jump (No. 17).
