Air Force women's basketball is slated for a 1 p.m ET tip-off in Boston, Falcons come in on a two-game win streak
AIR FORCE AT NORTHEASTERN: Air Force and Northeastern are slated for a 1 p.m. ET tip-off in the Cabot Center, on the campus of Northeastern, Boston, Massachusetts.
SERIES HISTORY:
-The Falcons and Huskies will be breaking the ice in their first meeting.
THE COACHES:
Air Force: Chris Gobrecht (USC `77)
- Led the 2017-18 team that yielded six new individual school records including the program's first-ever Mountain West Freshman of the Year in Kaelin Immel, who set four program-records highlighted by the most-ever points scored by an Air Force freshman in the Div. I era.
- Has an overall career record of 555-554 (.500) entering the sixth game of her 39th season. She is 13-81 since taking the helm of Air Force.
-Season highlights include the Falcons' first season-opening win since 2010-11, and Air Force's first victory over Army since 2007 and the program's best five-game start since the 2011-12 season.
Northeastern: Kelly Cole (Northwestern '91)
-Kelly Cole began her fifth season as the head coach of the Northeastern women's basketball team during 2018-19. She is 51-75 in her career as head coach of Northeastern.
-The Huskies went on to post an 8-10 mark during their 2016-17 CAA schedule, winning five of their final six regular-season games to lock up a top-six seed in the conference tournament for the second straight year.
-Cole elevated Northeastern to new heights during her second season on Huntington Avenue (2015-16), leading the Huskies to 11 more victories than during her first season, a mark that tied for the seventh best turnaround in Division I.
UP NEXT: The Falcons return home to take on Northern Colorado in their final game of November. The Falcons and Bears will tip-off in Clune Arena, Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 5 p.m. MT.
BEAT ARMY--CHECK: Air Force outscored Army, 19-6, in the fourth quarter to surge past the Black Knights at home, Wednesday evening, in Christl Arena, West Point. The win marks the Falcons first against Army since beating them at home in 2007.

-Air Force freshmen combined for 45 points-- Air Force underclassmen (Fr.-So.) combined for 64 points.
-Briana Autrey and Riley Snyder recorded season-high scoring marks
-Kaelin Immel and Snyder recorded their fourth double-digit scoring performances while Autrey had her second
-Venessannah Itugbu, who walked on as a freshman, is the first Air Force senior to enjoy a win over Army in over a decade
A RECORD DAY AGAINST FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON: Twelve Falcons scored 85 points to beat Fairleigh Dickinson, 85-37, in what became Air Force's largest margin of victory in the program's Division I era. The last time Air Force won by such a large margin was against San Diego State in the 2005-06 season where the Falcons beat the Aztecs, 74-45.
Junior forward Kassady Huffman led the squad with her second-straight double-double this season, scoring 10 points and snagging 11 rebounds on the night. Sophomore guard Emily Conroe shot over 50-percent from the field to lead the team with 16 points. Conroe also tallied seven rebounds, three steals and a block on the night.
A QUICK LOOK AT AIR FORCE: Air Force is led by a pair of young guards in Kaelin Immel and Briana Autrey, who average 14.8 and 12.6 ppg, respectively. Immel is shooting .533 from downtown while Autrey shoots .514 from the field. Junior Kassady Huffman, who leads the team in rebounds (8.8 rpg) and blocks (14), averages eight ppg in five starts this season.
Autrey's freshmen teammates, Riley Snyder and Haley Jones, have already made significant contributions early in their career. Snyder has four double-digit scoring performances and averages 10 ppg-- she is the only freshman to have started in every contest this season. Jones averages seven ppg and has been consistent on the boards, splitting her season total down the middle with 13 offensive and defensive boards, each.
As a team, Air Force shoots .587 from the line, .413 from the field and .368 from the arc with an +8.8 scoring margin. The Falcons have out-rebounded opponents by 6.4 boards per game.
NORTHEASTERN AT A GLANCE: The Huskies (4-0) are off to the program's best start to the regular season since its 1982-83 campaign. NU is led by senior point guard Jess Genco who averages 16 ppg. The Huskies average 73 ppg with a 13.5 scoring margin. Shannon Todd and Gabby Giacone also average double-digit ppg, while Ayanna Dublin leads the squad with 7.5 rebounds per game.
NU's LAST TWO GAMES:
vs. New Hampshire, 11/21: Compiling another balanced effort, the Northeastern women's basketball team breezed by New Hampshire, 69-54, with 11 players scoring for the second time during the Huskies' first four games, Northeastern countered its slow start by steadily wearing down the Wildcats, taking a 15-point lead into halftime (42-27) before leading by as many as 23 points midway through the fourth quarter (67-44).
Jess Genco and Shannon Todd paced the Huskies with 15 and 11 points, respectively. Genco shot six-for-10 from the floor while Todd remained perfect during each of her five field goal attempts, finishing her scoring in double figures for the third consecutive game.
Freshman forward Alexis Hill registered a season and career high, nine points, to lead Northeastern's reserves. Stella Clark contributed four points, nine rebounds and six assists for the Huskies' bench, which outscored the UNH bench, 32-11.
At Dayton, 11/17: Backed by senior point guard Jess Genco's career high, 31 points, the Northeastern won an overtime thriller in a challenging road environment, defeating Dayton, 84-79, at UD Arena.
Genco played the duration of the 45-minute contest, hitting 11 shots from the field while tracking down 11 rebounds to go with six assists and two steals. The performance – Genco's fourth career double-double and her first to feature the rebounding category – merited the 1,057-point scorer 19th place on the program's all-time scoring list as she passed Kash Cannon (1,053).
Shannon Todd delivered 20 points for Northeastern (3-0), which is off to its second three-game, undefeated start to the regular season under the leadership of fifth-year head coach Kelly Cole. Gabby Giacone paired 17 points with 12 rebounds to notch her second double-double of the season, while Courtney Redcross came through with seven points down the stretch.
Kyla Whitehead led Dayton (1-2) with 14 points and 11 rebounds off the bench while Jayla Scaife paced the Flyers' starters with 19 points, nine rebounds and two assists.
NU committed just four turnovers against Dayton's 14 and survived the late stages of the game despite three of its starters fouling out – Ayanna Dublin, Giacone and Katie May.
