Air Force women's basketball takes on Portland at 7 p.m., in the first of a two-game road stretch
AIR FORCE vs PORTLAND: The Falcons will take on the Portland Pilots (7-3) in the first of a two-game road stretch, Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 7:00 p.m. PT, in the Chiles Center.
SERIES HISTORY:
-The Falcons and Pilots will be meeting for the fifth time; both teams have two wins apiece in the series.
-The last time the teams met was Nov. 20, 2010, where Air Force lost, 51-62, in Portland.
-Air Force's last win against the Portland was Dec. 2, 2004, where the Falcons downed the Pilots, 68-61, in Portland.
-Portland has won the last two meetings against Air Force.
-Air Force is undefeated against Portland when playing in December.

LAST TIME OUT: The Falcons fumbled a 12-point first half lead, allowing Navy the chance to come from behind and steal the victory, 54-47, Dec. 7, in Clune Arena, USAFA. The game was a tale of two halves as the Falcons dominated the first half and fell flat in the second. Freshman forward Riley Snyder, who has started in all contests this season, exploded on Navy with 13 first-half points and 20 on the game for a career-high. The Fruita, Colorado, native shot 3-3 from beyond the arc in the first 20 minutes of action. She finished 8-17 (.471) from the field with seven rebounds.
