Women's Hoops Takes on Northern Colorado in Tuesday Matchup

Air Force women's basketball will tip off at 7 p.m. MST in Greeley, Colo.

The Falcons will travel up I-25 North to take on Northern Colorado at 7 p.m., Tuesday (Nov. 19) in Greeley, Colorado. In last season's meeting at USAFA, the Falcons beat the Bears, 69-57, snapping an eight-game losing streak to UNC.

A late rally came up short as the Falcons dropped a 70-59 contest to the University of San Diego, Saturday afternoon in Clune Arena. Riley Snyder paced the Falcons for the third-straight game, scoring 18 points for her second-best scoring mark of the season and third-straight double-figure scoring performance. Snyder also collected seven rebounds on the day and shot a perfect 5-5 from the free throw line.
SNYDER SCORES
Sophomore forward Riley Snyder is the Falcons' leading scorer through the first four games, averaging 14.0 PPG. The native of Fruita, Colorado, has led Air Force in scoring for three-straight games, scoring a season-high 19 against NJIT (Nov. 8), 13 against Army (Nov. 13) and most recently 18 against San Diego (Nov. 16). Snyder makes her money at the free throw line where she is currently shooting .923 (12-13) this season.
ON THE CUSP
Emily Conroe has consistently displayed her all-around utility as the team's top rebounders and second-leading scorer. Conroe averages 11.0 PPG and 9.8 RPG. Conroe has been on the cusp of a double-double in each game this season. In the season opener, the junior co-team captain dropped 12 points and collected eight boards. In the game against NJIT, she was a bucket away from a double-double mark (8 points, 10 rebounds). Against Army, she landed just one point shy of a double-double, scoring nine points while snagging a game-high and personal season-best 12 boards-- a mark just one shy of her career-high. In the most recent game Conroe scored a season-high 15 points and snagged nine rebounds, once again coming up just shy of a double-double. She currently has the Falcons' best 3FG%, shooting .583 on 12 attempts.
CRASHING BOARDS
Air Force currently leads the Mountain West in rebounds per game (43.8) and offensive rebounds (18.3). Emily Conroe is the second leading rebounder in the league (9.8 RPG) while Haley Jones is sitting at fifth (7.8 RPG). Conroe is third in the league in defensive rebounds (5.8 DRPG) while the aforementioned duo is tied for second in the league averaging 4.0 offensive rebounds per game. Jones is also third in the league with six blocks (1.5 BPG)
FANTASTIC FRESHMEN
In the season opener against No. 20/18 Arizona State, Kamri Heath scored a game-high 16 points in her collegiate debut. Heath, who didn't miss a field goal in the first 18:30 of the game, along with freshmen teammates Allyah Marlett and Grace Hess combined for 29 points on their opening night. Marlett dropped eight points and collected eight rebounds while Hess recorded five points.
The Air Force freshman continued to put their ability on display in the game against Army, as Heath, Hess, Marlett and Nikki McDonald scored six apiece, bringing the combined freshman total to 24 points on the night. They combined for 17 points in the loss to a talented and height-advantaged San Diego team (Nov. 16). The aforementioned freshman quartet averages 21.2 PPG for Air Force so far this season.
