Air Force to Host Washington in Home Finale

The Falcons will honor their five seniors during the March 23 meet against Washington.
The 13th-ranked Air Force men's gymnastics team closes out the home portion of its season this Saturday (March 23), when it hosts 17th-ranked Washington on Senior Night at the Cadet West Gym. During the meet, which is slated to begin at 6:00 p.m. (MT), the Falcons will honor their five seniors – Ryan Girouard, Christian Kalustian, Eric Klein, Lukas Texeira and Jonah Urlaub.

LET'S MEET THE OPPONENT
Washington, which hasn't competed since a 405.500-393.300 loss to Cal on March 10, is ranked 17th in the national standings (second amongst club teams) with a four-score average of 376.350. Nathan Tsuji is ranked among the nation's top-20 in the all-around, as he holds a four-score average of 77.533 (15th).
AIR FORCE IN THE RANKINGS
With a four-score average of 394.650, Air Force is currently ranked 13th in the NCAA. The Falcons are also listed among the top-10 on the still rings (66.967, ninth), while Lukas Texeira is ranked fourth on the high bars with a four-score average of 14.233. In addition, Ethan Esval is listed among the top 20 on the still rings, with a 13.817 average.
WHAT'S AHEAD FOR THE FALCONS
With the regular season coming to a close on Saturday, the Falcons turn their attention to the championship portion of the 2019 campaign. Air Force will head to Annapolis, Md., next weekend (March 29-30) and look to defend their title at the USA Gymnastics Collegiate National Championships.
