LAST TIME THEY PLAYED
Air Force fell to Boise State, 80-60, in the regular season finale (Mar. 7, 2019) in Clune Arena.
The Falcons were led by Riley Snyder and Kaelin Immel who scored 13 points apiece. Snyder added five rebounds and two assists to her stat line while Immel added an assist and a steal.
Haley Jones had a strong showing, snagging a game-high 11 rebounds while adding nine points, two blocks and two steals to her stat line. Emily Conroe, who leads the squad in rebounds, picked up seven boards and added six points and an assist to the final tally. She was perfect from the free-throw line as well (2-2).
Marta Hermida led the Broncos with 16 points while teammates Jayde Christopher and Rachel Bowers added 14 and 11, respectively. Bowers snagged up a team-high eight rebounds.

Air Force dropped a 75-53 Mountain West contest to the University of New Mexico, Saturday afternoon (Jan. 11) in Clune Arena. The Falcons dropped to 4-12 overall with a 2-3 mark in league play while New Mexico claimed its first MWC victory of the season, improving to 10-8 with a 1-4 record in the conference.
Junior co-team captain Kaelin Immel paced Air Force with 17 points six rebounds, tallying her 13th double-figure scoring mark of the season. Freshman teammate Nikki McDonald was the second-leading scorer for the Falcons, tying her career-best nine points while also six rebounds to her stat line. McDonald ignited the Air Force offense with a pair of three-pointers on the day, shooting a team-high 60-percent from the field.
Emily Conroe, the Falcons' leader in double-doubles this season, came up just short of another, scoring eight points and collecting eight rebounds. Freshman teammate Allyah Marlett picked up a game-high nine rebounds for Air Force, increasing her season rebounding average to 5.8, the most by any freshman.
Sophomore point guard Briana Autrey-Thompson dished out a team-high five assists while also scoring six points and snagging six boards. Haley Jones dropped five points, grabbed five rebounds picked off three steals. Sophomore teammate Riley Snyder contributed with three steals, a bucket and an assist.
The Lobos had five players with double-figure scoring marks, led by Ahlise Hurst's and Jordan Hosey's 13 points apiece. New Mexico's significant contributor was Jayla Everett who notched a double-double with 10 points and 10 assists.
Air Force shot its lowest free throw percentage of the season (.313) while being held to its lowest scoring mark of the year (53).
CLIMBING THE ALL-TIME LADDER
Following her 14-point performance at LBSU (Dec. 18), Immel became the 16th all-time Falcon to achieve 1,000 career points at Air Force. Immel, who now has 1,083 career points, is the 12th all-time leading scorer in program history and fifth leading scorer in the Division I era. The next rung up on the all-time ladder is Jennifer Patrick with 1,124 career points (1990-94). The next spot up on Div. I scoring ladder is former teammate Cortney Porter with 1,162 career points.
Junior teammate Emily Conroe is following Immel's lead in the all-time points pursuit with 812 career points, a mark that ranks her 13th in the Div. I era, recently surpassing Jimi Blagowsky (810 points, 2011-15).
PICKIN' POCKETS
Air Force picked off a season-high 27 steals against Nebraska-Wesleyan (Dec. 30) for the most by any MW team in a single game. Haley Jones and Conroe lead Air Force in steals averaging two per game, marks that rank them sixth and seventh in the league, respectively. Conroe set a new team standard with six steals against Utah State (Jan. 8).
SNAGGIN' BOARDS
Air Force leads the MWC in offensive rebounds per game (16.63). Emily Conroe is the eighth-leading overall rebounder in the MWC while Jones is ninth in overall rebounds (6.5 rpg) and third in offensive rebounds (3.44 orpg).
