THE SERIES
The Falcons and Rams will be tipping off for the 62nd time in program history. Air Force split last season's meetings with the Rams, winning a 63-48 contest at the Academy, and dropping the last meeting, 55-48, in Fort Collins. Last season's home win against CSU snapped a 13-game losing-steak to the Rams.

LAST TIME THEY PLAYED
Colorado State rallied for a fourth quarter comeback to beat Air Force, 55-48, in Moby Arena, Fort Collins.
Kaelin Immel led the squad with 20 points, shooting 7-19 from the field, 2-6 from deep and perfect (4-4) at the free-throw line. Freshman forward Riley Snyder, who left the game with a tweaked ankle late in the third quarter, dropped seven points and collected a season-high eight rebounds. The Falcons held the lead for just under thirty-minutes, but a sluggish fourth quarter proved to be the difference.
Haley Jones and Briana Autrey-Thompson combined for eight points and had two assists apiece. Autrey-Thompson, Conroe, Immel and Venessannah Itugbu tallied two steals apiece. Itugbu led the team with three blocks, two of which came on the Rams' leading scorer, Lore Devos.
Devos dropped 17 points while Tatum Neuburt scored 12 and Mollie Mounsey dropped 11. The Rams out-rebounded Air Force, 39-34, but turned the ball over four more times than the Falcons (19-15). Air Force's bench combined for 11 points.
NEXT UP
The Falcons return to the Academy to host Utah State on Wednesday (Jan. 22) at 6:30 p.m. in Clune Arena. The Falcons downed the Aggies, 62-45, in the first meeting of the season (Jan. 8) in Logan, Utah.
LAST GAME
An explosive Air Force rally came up short in the final minutes against Boise State as the Falcons fell to the Broncos, 70-61, Wednesday evening in ExtraMile Arena. Air Force (4-13, 2-4 MW) overcame as much as a 19-point deficit to come within one point of tying Boise State (13-6, 5-2) in the waning minutes of the fourth quarter.
Junior co-team captain Kaelin Immel led the Falcons with a season-high 28 points. She scored 15 in the fourth quarter alone which was more than any other player, Broncos or Falcons, had all game. Immel shot 50-percent from deep and 41-percent from the field on the game while adding three assists and a steal her final stat line. The native of Beaverton, Oregon, now averages 15.5 ppg and has four 20-point performances this season.
Junior co-team captain Emily Conroe was just shy of a double-double yet again, scoring nine points and collecting nine rebounds. Conroe was perfect from three-point range (3-3) and at the free throw line (2-2). She also registered two assists and a steal on the night.
Sophomore forward Riley Snyder scored 10 points off the bench with two rebounds and an assist. Sophomore classmate and point guard Briana Autrey-Thompson registered a team-high five assists while scoring six points and picking off two steals. Air Force forwards Nikki McDonald and Haley Jones made their contributions in the paint, picking up seven and six rebounds, respectively.
The Falcons' defense was noticeably effective in disrupting Boise's offense, causing 18 Bronco turnovers leading to 22 Air Force points off of lost balls.
Boise State was led by Riley Lupfer and Mallory McGwire with 14 and 13 points, respectively. McGwire registered a double-double, collecting a game-high 11 rebounds. Jayde Christopher was the Broncos' leading playmaker as she dished out 13 assists and scored eight points.
IMMEL SETS THE STANDARD
Junior co-team captain Kaelin Immel is the Falcons' leading scorer, averaging 15.5 ppg. The native of Beaverton, Oregon, has 14 double-figure scoring marks and four 20+ point performances on the season, highlighted by a season-high 28 points against defending Mountain West champs, Boise State (Jan. 15). She is the fifth-leading scorer and has the ninth-best field goal percentage (.413) in the MW.
CLIMBING THE ALL-TIME LADDER
Following her 14-point performance at LBSU (Dec. 18), Immel became the 16th all-time Falcon to achieve 1,000 career points at Air Force. Immel, who now has 1,111 career points, is the 12th all-time leading scorer in program history and fifth leading scorer in the Division I era. The next rung up on the all-time ladder is Jennifer Patrick with 1,124 career points (1990-94). The next spot up on Div. I scoring ladder is former teammate Cortney Porter with 1,162 career points.
Junior teammate Emily Conroe is following Immel's lead in the all-time points pursuit with 821 career points, a mark that ranks her 13th in the Div. I era, recently surpassing Jimi Blagowsky (810 points, 2011-15).
PICKIN' POCKETS
Air Force picked off a season-high 27 steals against Nebraska-Wesleyan (Dec. 30) for the most by any MW team in a single game. Haley Jones and Conroe lead Air Force in steals averaging about two per game, marks that rank them sixth and eighth in the league, respectively. Conroe set a new team standard with six steals against Utah State (Jan. 8).
SNAGGIN' BOARDS
Air Force leads the MWC in offensive rebounds per game (16.41). Emily Conroe is the eighth-leading overall rebounder in the MWC while Jones is ninth in overall rebounds (6.5 rpg) and third in offensive rebounds (3.4 orpg).
