Women’s Gymnastics Scores Season-High 194.400 at USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Air Force posted a season-high 194.400 to finish third at the 2021 USA Gymnastics Collegiate Championships team finals. Host team Southeast Missouri took first (195.025), previous champions Lindenwood took second (194.875) while Texas Woman's University and Centenary finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
Four Falcons posted career-best scores across three events. Air Force opened the championships on the vault where the posted a season-high team score in the event. They were most troubled on their second event, the uneven bars, but still managed to rebound and post strong scores on the balance beam and floor exercise. Cam Barber and Pixie Brock led the Falcons with 9.850 on the beam and floor, respectively. Daija Stevenson had the highest finish, landing second place in the all-around.

In the last individual championship session, the Falcons concluded action the 2019 USA Gymnastics Collegiate Nationals with five All-Americans earning 11 accolades, and a pair of individual national champions in Anna Salamone and Tyler Davis.
