Air Force hosts Holy Cross, Feb. 11-12

This Week: Air Force (11-13-2, 9-9-2 AHA) hosts Holy Cross (8-19-2, 6-12-2 AHA), in a two-game conference series, Friday-Saturday, Feb. 11-12, at the Cadet Ice Arena. Friday's game starts at 7:05 pm MT while Saturday's opening faceoff is at 5:05 pm MT.
The Standings: AIC continues to lead Atlantic Hockey with 45 points, followed by Canisius, RIT and Bentley. Air Force is tied for sixth place with 29 points. Holy Cross, winners of two of their last three including a victory over league-leading AIC, is in 10th place with 19 points.
About the Crusaders: Holy Cross (8-19-2, 6-12-2 AHA) has won three of its last six games with splits against Army, AIC and Sacred Heart. The win over first-place AIC (Jan. 30), ended the Yellow Jackets' 11-game winning streak, the longest in the nation. The Crusaders split with Sacred Heart last weekend. Ryan Leibold leads the team with eight goals and 20 points. Matt Radomsky has seen the most action between the pipes and has a 2.45 GAA and a .908 saves percentage. Bill Riga is in his first season with the Crusaders. Riga spent 13 seasons at Quinnipiac, helping to lead the Bobcats to five ECAC regular-season championships, six NCAA Tournament appearances, two Frozen Fours and two NCAA National Championship games during his 13 years.
