Action is slated for 12 pm ET in Easton, Pennsylvania, and will mark the second all-time meeting between the teams and the first meeting between since 2005. The Falcons lead the series, 1-0, after the 11-6 win in 2005.
At the Helm
Bill Wilson enters his seventh season as the head lacrosse coach at Air Force in the 2025 season. Wilson, who served as the interim head coach in the 2018 season and took the helm of the program in 2019, has 16 years coaching experience at the Academy. He is 51-46 after six seasons as Air Force's head coach and is 90-86 in 10 career years as a head coach. Since joining the ASUN Conference in 2022, coach Wilson has led the Falcons to a share of the regular season ASUN title in 2024, three top three finishes with three conference tournament appearances, highlighted by a visit to the ASUN Championship against top-seed Utah in 2023.
Since taking the reins as head coach, Wilson has led 29 all-conference selections highlighted by conference Defensive Player of the Year in Brandon Jones (2019) and Freshman of the Year in Turner Ashby (2024). Wilson also led Air Force to their first victory over legendary head coach Bill Tierney's Denver Pioneers in 2023, marking Tierney's first-ever loss to Air Force.
Senior attack man Josh Yago was elected team captain for the 2025 season. A first-team All-ASUN selection last year, Yago is Air Force's current goals (33), assist (38) and points (71) leader.
Let's Talk Air Force
Air Force is returning six starters from last season but will be missing two key figures in USILA All-America Honorable Mention Chris Bardak (graduate) and ASUN Freshman of the Year Turner Ashby who opted out of the Academy. The Falcons top attackers Josh Yago and Caelan Driggs, combining for 56 goals last season, will lead the offense into the new season under the guidance of Will Corrigan in his second season as offensive coordinator. Look for names like Wes Peene, Cole Rassas, and Mana Willhelm to have an impact on the offensive effort.
On defense, Daniel Enoch, Cody Gross, and Cole Cunningham are set to disrupt opposition offenses—the trio combined for 29 caused turnovers and 82 ground balls last season. In goal, the Falcons have multiple options in Jake Marek and Nolan Parlette, both starting five games and winning four each last season. Marek registered an 8.72 GAA with a .571 save percentage while Parlette had a 9.97 GAA with a .511 save percentage.
At the center dot, senior face off man Jake Knapp is likely to get the nod. Knapp played all 15 games last season and concluded with a .478 win percentage. He won 143 face offs for the fifth most single season face off wins in the Falcons' Division I era. Knapp also scored a goal with two assists and picked up 63 ground balls.
