3/28/2025 6:32:00 PM | Track and Field
AUSTIN, Texas – Five members of the Air Force track and field team competed at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays this afternoon (March 28) in Austin, with senior Javin Bostic and junior Jettason Rose pulling double-duty with two events.
Highlighted the day was an Air Force Senior Class Record in the 100-meter dash from Bostic, who crossed the finish line in 10.44 to take 0.01 seconds off a standard that Zach Johnson and Jamiel Trimble had shared since 2018. Bostic, who finished within the top half of the qualifying field (16th) with that finish, also led off the Falcons' 4x100-meter relay that posted a time of 40.85 in qualifying. The senior was joined on the relay by freshman Asher Jenkins, sophomore James Warmbrod IV, and Rose – who capped his day with a top-20 finish in the timed-final section of the 100-meter dash. Crossing the finish line 10.59, the junior finished 18th out of 68 runners in the section. From the infield of Mike A Myers Stadium, junior Massimo Grisotto earned a top-10 finish in the discus throw, as he recorded a distance of 49.50 meters (162'5") to finish ninth in his section.
Another small contingent of Falcons will be back in Austin tomorrow (March 29) for the final day of action at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, while the rest of the squad will wtap up action at the Bobcat Invitational in San Marcos.
