This Week: Air Force (2-5-1, 0-1-1 AHA) hosts the Bentley Falcons (4-5-0, 2-2-0 AHA), Friday-Saturday, Nov. 12-13, at the Cadet Ice Arena. The teams play at 7:05 pm MT on Friday and at 5:05 pm MT on Saturday.
Home Stand: After playing nine of the first 11 games on the road (including exhibition games), the Falcons return home to play eight straight home games, all conference games. The Falcons host Bentley, Nov. 12-13, Sacred Heart, Nov. 19-20 and 22-23, and Canisius, Dec. 3-4.
About Bentley: Bentley is 4-5-0 overall and 2-2-0 in the AHA. Last weekend, Bentley split at home with Canisius, winning 2-1 in game one and falling 6-3 in game two. Bentley also split with Holy Cross, Oct. 21-23. The Falcons have non-conference home wins over Ohio State and Boston College. Graduate senior Phil Knies, a transfer from Miami, leads the team with eight points in nine games. Sophomore defenseman Drew Bavaro leads the team with five goals and is second with seven points. Three different goalies have started games this season. Sophomore Nicholas Grabko has started six and has a .904 saves percentage and a 3.46 GAA.
Series vs. Bentley: The teams have played 57 times and Air Force holds a 34-17-6 advantage in the series that began in 1998. As Atlantic Hockey foes, the teams played 48 times since the beginning of the 2006-07 season (15 years) and Air Force holds a 28-15-5 lead. Bentley won two of three last season. The teams split a two-game series at Bentley with Bentley winning the first game (6-3) and AF winning game two (4-3 OT). Bentley then defeated Air Force in the AHA first round, 7-3, in Bentley. Since 2019, Bentley holds a 4-3 record against AF. Air Force is 18-6-4 against Bentley at the Cadet Ice Arena. The Falcons have won six straight over Bentley at the Academy dating back to a loss in 2016.

* Sophomore Nate Horn scored his third goal of the season, all on the power play. Horn leads the league and ranks eighth in the nation with three power play goals.
* Freshman Austin Schwartz scored his first career goal Friday while freshman Lucas Coon and sophomore Sam Brennan scored their first career goals on Saturday
* Freshman Clayton Cosentino tied his career high with two assists on Friday
* Parker Brown had an assist in both games
* While Brown is still looking for his first career goal that counts in the season stats, he has scored three goals this season with exhibition goals against Colorado College and Lindenwood and the shootout goal at Niagara.
