HOUSING - **Boarders must be 12 years of age or older**
All AF Sport Camps are conducted on the campus of the U.S. Air Force Academy located in Colorado Springs, CO. Camp boarders are housed in Vandenberg Hall and are supervised by AFA Cadet and Adult camp counselors. **Please note, the Vadenberg Hall is a military style dormitory with "community style" bathrooms that have divider walls for individual showers. Each dorm room has its own sink and mirror.
For the safety and security of our campers and staff members, all Vandenberg Hall doors are monitored 24 hours a day, seven days a week and Campers must display a valid camp credential to gain access. Campers must be in Vandenburg Hall by 9:00pm. AFA Military Police monitor Vandenburg Hall and surrounding areas overnight.
Be sure to safeguard your dorm key and camp credential! If you lose your key, go to your counselor or the dorm's information desk immediately. Lost keys will incur a $20.00 charge for a replacement.
ROOMMATES
Camp Boarders can request a roommate of their choice at the time of online registration. Listing a roommate preference does not guarantee enrollment of the roommate into the camp. We will do our best to fulfill roommate requests; however, we cannot guarantee all requests. If no preference is indicated, a roommate will be assigned. Rooming assignments are finalized on or after June 1. Campers will find out who their roommates are upon checking-in to the Dorms on Sunday. Additionally, no changes to rooms/roommates will be made on the day of check-in.
AF Sports Camps cannot guarantee that entire teams or all campers from a single school will be housed on the same floor. This applies to teams attending individual camps. Also, AF Sports Camps cannot guarantee that every camper will be assigned a roommate. All dorm rooms are 2 campers per room.
