AF Girl's Lacrosse camp is a teaching/learning camp. New skills will be introduced, demonstrated, practiced and finally used in game like situations. It is a great opportunity to improve and enhance skills as well as to build upon the total skills you already have. Each participant will be placed in a group based on her age level. Students will play each day on our plush grass fields. During inclement weather, camp goes indoors on our state of the art turf field where campers will receive group and individual instruction.
In order to better relate to the different types of skills and experience, our staff is composed of coaches and players comprised from both collegiate and high school levels.
In order to attend AF Girls Lacrosse Camp you will need to provide your own equipment:
- Mouthpiece
- Stick
- Eye Gear
- Any protective gear deemed necessary
You may also need a pair of cleats for play on the fields and a pair of sneakers for wear when inside Academy facilities. Monday - Tuesday, camp will begin each day starting at 8:30am and will wrap up at 4:00pm. On Tuesday camp will conclude at 4:00pm (an awards ceremony will commence at 3:30pm where prizes will be given to outstanding campers). The ceremony will be on the upper lacrosse fields, and parents who want to observe this ceremony are welcome to do so.
Thank you again for considering the AF Girl's Lacrosse Camp. I am certain that it will be an enjoyable and educational experience for your young lacrosse athlete.
Go Falcons!
