COVID-19 Updates

Walk-in/Day-Of registrations will NOT be available.
Parents, family members, and other guests will be permitted within the camp check-in area.
Parents, family members, and other guests may be permitted to view camp from a designated area depending on the facility.
A COVID-19 test or vaccination is NOT required for overnight BOARDERS - However, this could change from guidance given by Department of Defense, El Paso County Department of Health or the CDC at any time.
A COVID-19 test or vaccination is NOT required to attend AF Sports Camps as a COMMUTER

COVID-19 Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk:

As a parent you agree that as a condition of your child’s willing and voluntary participation in programs and activities of AF Sports Camps hosted by the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC):

You understand that AFAAC/AF Sports Camps has issued rules and precautions which follow, or may in some cases exceed, guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Department of Defense and El Paso County Department of Health. You agree that it is your child’s sole responsibility to follow these protocols and acknowledge that failure to do so may result in your child’s removal from the Program.

This guidance includes basic health, safety, and sanitation measures (staying home when sick, washing/sanitizing hands often, etc.) in addition to wearing a face mask while using public transportation (including transportation hubs such as airports and bus stations) or while in healthcare and certain research facilities and labs.

Your child must adhere to these protocols regardless of vaccination status.

Your child will NOT participate in the Program if they are awaiting results of a COVID-19 test or if they recently:

have been diagnosed with COVID-19;
have experienced any symptom of illness which may be associated with COVID-19; or,
have been in close contact with anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test or has exhibited any symptom of illness which may be associated with COVID-19 or any of its variants.
1. If your child falls into any of the above categories, they may nevertheless participate in the Program if:
  - more than five days have passed since their last close contact or symptom; AND,
  - they have tested negative for COVID-19 on or after the five-day mark.

You acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and you understand that AFAAC and AF Sports Camps make every reasonable effort to operate and maintain the sports camp facilities to protect against the exposure to COVID-19 virus or any other communicable disease in accordance with federal and state guidelines. As noted by government health officials, complete isolation from the virus is impossible. Accordingly, AFAAC and the Academy cannot and do not promise to eliminate the risk of exposure to COVID-19 or any other communicable disease and cannot and do not promise that a participant will not contract COVID-19 or any other communicable disease. Participant acknowledges that AFAAC have informed him/her that the sports camp facilities are not risk-free, that it is possible participant may contract COVID-19 or any other communicable disease during his/her presence at the sports camp facilities, and that participant freely chooses to enter and be present within and upon the sports camp facilities, and to participate in all sports camp activities, with awareness and assumption of the associated risks.

In accordance with NCAA guidelines, all AF Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by specified number, age grade level and/or gender of its participants.
