Aspire Higher is a total figure skating camp experience that offers complete daily training at high altitude in the state-of-the-art Air Force Academy Cadet Ice Arena.
This super camp offers:
- Skaters grouped by jumping ability
- Five on ice classes per day
- Six off ice classes per day
- Two guaranteed private lessons per skater on designated camp freestyle sessions
- Competitive simulation of one program of the skater's choice at camp gala
- Parent observation
- Coaches education track
- Adult track
Registration Fee - $875* includes

- All on and off ice group classes and instruction
Private lessons ($40 per lesson) and freestyle sessions ($10 for a 60-minute session) are not included in the camp registration fee and must be paid for separately. Private Lesson Booking will start May 1 (Session times are available by contacting Pam Nearhoof at pamela.nearhoof@airforceathletics.org or 719-333-0229)
Skaters should plan on arriving no later than 3pm on June 4. Camp Check-in will be from 3-5pm followed by a teambuilding activity, welcome/overview and autograph session. Private lessons will be offered on Saturday, June 3, Sunday June 4 and Saturday, June 10. Session times are available by contacting Pam Nearhoof at pamela.nearhoof@airforceathletics.org or 719-333-0229.
The personal program training session allows all camp participants to train their program(s) for a full hour each day. Each camp group will receive a one hour-long session. Skaters will draw for their start order and then take turns continuously rotating their short and/or long program music.
Additionally, all skaters can perform one program of their choice in costume at the camp gala exhibition on Friday, June 9. A Grand Champion trophy will be awarded for the best artistic performance as judged by non-skating, local community artists.
Coaches attend free with three or more of their primary students participating in the camp. The daily camp curriculum also includes a special Coaches Education Track led by Christy Krall.
